My name is Walter

A few years back, I lost the sight in one eye. What I thought would slow me down ended up changing everything. With one eye I still had my hands — and I found wood. Cutting it, sanding it, weathering it plank by plank was the one place the noise in my head finally went quiet.

The first flag I built was never meant to be sold. But people saw it on my wall and kept asking where they could get one. That's how WONLV started.

I build every flag by hand

• Solid wood, cut by hand. I hand-cut, sand, and distress every plank myself, so no two flags are ever the same.
• Made in the USA. Built start to finish in my workshop — never mass-printed, never outsourced.
